    Yes, for driving traffic to the website, these strategies are still very effective. As far as backlinking is concerned, these websites gives you not very high quality backlinks.

    If you leave social bookmarking, directory submission you will be running out of back link building processes. Anything that is related to articles will either cost you too high or eat up your time. Forums are not too useful these days and exchanging back links is not very safe way of link building.
