I'm new here, but it seems like the most active forum (not sure about SP) that I've ever been apart in.

I think that's a good way to measure popular webmaster forums, because the Alexa toolbar is more popular amongst webmasters.

 

opd of dmoz is a popular one.
google groups are also forums so they are popular.

think digit and webdeveloper are other popular forums.

there are lot's of such popular ones, but i like this one,
popular or not, dp is the best!

 

Sucks that Shawn will never sell this place either. I'd buy it up pretty quickly. I've always respected this place, well, at least to a higher degree than any of the others. But even so, would be one hell of a good property to add to my arsenal.

If you had a coding question relating to websites (design or programming), Sitepoint gives superior answers to DP. Just an observation.

Yeah you are right. I have got much quick replies for CODING/design related questions.

But the thing i hate in Sitepoint is that they cost $$ to post in their marketplace.

 

If you're gonna include BBS's then theres a Japanese site called 2channel that has approx 2.4 million posts per day
