    Hi guys

i want your openion on Regional Social Bookmarking. i know according to SEO social bookmarking sites benefits you. but what if you are region specific?

i have two sites. one is specifically for UK customers and 2nd is for every one. i have use social bookmarking for both sites (specially digg)

i got traffic from Social Bookmarking sites for 2nd site but not for first site (which is UK targeted)

i'm asuming that social bookmarking sites (specially Digg) bring trageted traffic from US only not from UK. is that right ?

Note: i already agree that Social Bookmarking has SEO benefits (Good backlink etc). i just care about traffic point of view.

    thanks

No, it just depends on which submission is more interesting.

It depends of course. If you're site looks interesting, it would be dugg by most users.

If you're looking to optimize your site for a specific region then links from Digg (overall) will help your overall position. If you're producing an article or piece of media that will be of particular interest to people in a certain region, then obviously that will attract more visits and backlinks from that region.

I'd say keep on with Digg for overall optimization and "regionalize" your other link building efforts to get better results for the region in question.
