I've been thinking about starting a new site recently but when it costs over $100 just to set up everything up, it seems to me like it is a form of gambling because the site is worth nothing at the start and may never gain any value in the future (although if it does, it could make a lot of money). How long do people spend performing feasibility studies etc. before they invest their money into an idea?
