Is Default Google Analytics Failing?

    Greetings,

    I have a situation as follows...

    Google Analytics shows only 30 or so hits for last 30 days, while Google AdWords shows 900 or so-- this situation hasn't changed for several months-- used to be the two services showed similar results.

    Anyone knows what causes this and/or how to rectify it?

    There are two reasons for the google analytics being inaccurate.
    No.1 Stuff you can fix
    No.2 Stuff you have no control over

    In google analytics you keep only for home page. So you need to place in all pages. If it is wordpress site means some plugins are there to automatically keep in all pages

    Yeah the Google Analytics is failing. But it have the reasons for that.

    1) Failure to tag pages.
    2) Poor location of Google Analytics tracking code.
    3) More than one Google Analytics tracking code on a page.
    4) Javascript errors on the page.
    5) In-page Analytics is inaccurate.
