I'm just wondering if creating quality content is only the key to earn from Adsense. I notice that no matter how great is your content it still not enough to earn from Adsense. Anyone can contribute it? What are the usual method you do to ensure that your content will be a hit and can hit lots of visitors? I heard you really have to promote it or else it will not get proper exposure or readers.
Yes you need to promote your site. Otherwise how can you expect to get visitors to your site? It also helps with SEO because Google wants to rank trusted/popular pages.
There are a few factors involved. Here is the problem with yours: 1: quality content is a good start, however, good content is one major factor among a few other factors... 2: having good content alone does not guarantee success; assuming you did everything else right, it may take months to measure your results.... 2: We do not know your niche. If you did no research, and just picked your niche out of a hat, then you could be wasting your time. bad or poor market research can be a death sentence. It can take months to measure if your site is going to do good or not, and if you get it wrong, then all you have done is waste a lot of time, and depending on your investment level, this may include money too... 3: I continue to read that adsense is not the way to go... I guess it is different if you have 1000's of quality articles, and you are a heavy trafficked site, are you? 4: other factors: On page seo, SEM, Link building, etc... Even getting this wrong can land you back in the stone age... Google does not play around these days... as previous post says... Google trust is your key to success.... Setting up a site sounds cool, interesting, etc...the fact of the matter is there are several factors of setting and running a site.... 1: May take a long time. (depends on comp/niche) 2: You maybe putting in long hours (in the beginning) 3: You maybe putting up $$$ Investment.... 4: and still, there are no guarantee of success....
I think that quality content is not enough to earn revenue from Adsense. It's one of the factor that let users stay long on your website. Other factors I think you need to improve such as traffic, website user interface, good & targeted content,...Combining these factors will let user click on the Google adsense ads placed on your website. I think so.
No,it is definetaly not,you need lot of other things,maybe the most important one is traffic,maybe more important than the content.
You can not start a website backwards... traffic is important, but it starts to come last... then again, I would never use adsense, you probably need 5-10 times more traffic, maybe more then you would need for a niche based affiliate site, and still would not use adsense.... adsense was cool back in its hey-day, but adsense is overreacting by banning good publishers, and their reputation is not good anymore... I would not use adsense if you give me a million dollars in cash... I would use the cash to invest in a network that actually cares....
Quality content is the very first step to get started with Google Adsense. After that you have to drive traffic in order to make money from it.
