Is creating many Facebook Accounts from same ip, a criminal offense ?

Please can anyone tell me "Is creating multiple Facebook Accounts from same ip address, a criminal Offense and liable for any punishment ?"

How could it be criminal? No... it's not. The fact that many households have a single shared computer would make it impossible to enforce a "one account per IP" policy.

 

It's not criminal offense but then again if you keep creating many accounts from the same ip OVER a period of time; it could be looked upon as suspicious.

no its not criminal offence bt doing tht can force fb to ban ur account. .

I don't see what you would need multiple facebook accounts for IM'ing for, unless of course it was spamming or tricking people. But of course I could be wrong, I'm curious why it is exactly that you would need more than one.

 

They may ban the account and its not a criminal offence.

 

It is not a criminal or civil offence in any jurisdiction that I know of - it's probably a criminal offence to have just one account in China though!

 

Its not ethically good but you can't say it a criminal activity. If you're not using it for threatening people etc.

No - not a criminal offense, however its against their terms of service, which can get you a lifetime block, and can get your personal facebook account blocked and banned as well. I'd recommend finding another way to make money.

Everyone seems to agree its not criminal, but FB won't like it. Making so many just seems sketchy, what exactly is it you are trying to do?
