    What exactly is a 'no follow' link. Does a no follow link means it does not count ?

    Yes, they are nofollow links. But they do show up as backlinks, and some argue still pass pagerank but not as much.

    I just verified craigslist. The links are nofollow and hence not useful for backlinks.

    Use craigslist only for genuine requirements.

    However Craigslist is good for some other marketing tactics.
