Is copyrighting necessary?

    Is copyrighting necessary for any website?

    I wonder if i should copyright my e-book or not!
    I just created it and i am not sure!

    Its not needed.. you can put the message at the bottom of it to make it look as if it is.

    Your work is copyrighted as soon as you write it.

    You do not have to register a copyright to enforce it. However, a registered copyright is required if you ever file an infringement suit.

    If you feel it's junk, don't bother.

    If it's a fine piece of work that you have high hopes for, spend the few bucks.

    Hmmm... didn't know till now. I know on some things you can do a minor mailing of the subject to yourself - I believe certified mail I think.

    But thanks Smyrl for the informative link.

    See what curiosity gets you when viewing a thread title. Something I didnt know. lol

    It's not a fortune so why don't you pay it and make sure you have the copyright on it.
