Is copying my content to any article directory for promotion affects my content ?

    try to make your articles as unique-content as you can before submitting. otherwise, google won't consider them.

    BAD IDEA! Keep the useful content on your website, so you become an authority. To the article sites you can send a rehashed version with less valuable content (watered down, or greatly simplified), or just a summary. YOU want to gain page rank, not give it out to the article sites. And in this way you avoid the duplicate content.
