Is Commission Junction better than Amazon Affiliates?

I'm using Amazon at the moment, but without success. Could people tell me why CJ is better?

I promote them differently.

And it's not the Network but the product or service and your ability to convince people to buy through your links.

Forget banners, and work on text... write convincingly so people will take action.

 

the problem is not between Amazon or CJ.
the problem is the way you advertise for your product.
you should try some different way to advertise your product.

Both work well if you know how to promote the products/ offers. Like the above guys said its not the networks but your skills which works for you.

But if you have a product available in both CJ/ Amazon, you can do A/B split testing to see which brings better conversions.

 

I prefer Amazon, but that is mostly what I know. I focused on it, stuck with it and now get the majority of my earnings from them. I prefer it because they have all the products under one merchant, so you get bigger baskets etc. The 24 hour cookie is an issue but things can never be perfect.

 

Amazon is best for products in many cases.

I've found that Amazon converts at a way, way higher rate than any advertiser I've used on CJ. I also trust Amazon more than any other program - I get way too many commissions on stuff I don't promote not to trust them.

The best thing to do is test. But my stats tell me that people trust and buy from Amazon much more often than any other online retailer.

 

I have tried amazon and CJ both with no luck.

 

Try both! Setup CJ for a month or so and compare the results. Its not rare that one will work better than another for a particular website

Just use Prosperent and get access to all of CJ, SAS, GAN, Linkshare, Pepperjam, etc., etc. They have all the products and you have none of the hassle of applying to individual merchants.

 

I am also using amazon but havn't earned a penny ? Any suggestion on how can i earn through it. I am using their banner? How to use it properly to earn through it?

CJ is 100% better because of Amazon's 24hour cookie storing policy.

With most bigger items people are doing comparison shopping and do not buy in the 1st 24 hour period and therefore your cookie expires.

Also Amazon starts out paying a lousy 4%.


Combine the 2 negatives and you have one really bad payout.


With CJ look for an affiliate that stores cookies for at least 30 days and you are golden.

Both are good. Amazon is best for physical products while CJ is best for digital products.

 

Amazon Associates is for selling amazon affiliate products, CJ has a Large list of offers and they have multiple opps for you to make affiliate income

 

I think it depends on the site you have and keyword you are targeting. you cannot sell something irrelevent to targeted audience.

 

Definitely...Go for CJ....
