Is .com,.net,.info,etc hava the same SEO value?

I thinking to buy a .info domain because .com and .net was sold out.
    What u think about .info?
I most concern is about the SEO value,,is Google treat all of them same?

I think SE treat they all equally. But, my personal preference is .com domains just because it might have some other advantages.

Yes, the search engines treat them all the same but .com is the recognized standard if you are going to promote it as a business.

I don't have any personal experienc with .info, .org, .us etc but, I know vast majority of big projects and major businesses use .com & .net and most of the webmasters try their level best to promote .com adn .net domains. That could be the main reason why .com & .net domains usually rank better.

But the domain name i wana to buy already sold out for .com and .net...
    What i should do?...
The other option i have is buy the domain with the country name behind.eg
www.phuketthailand.com for www.phuket.com.....Is it any big different between them?

For SE, it does not make a difference whether it is a .info . Many travel sites are .info

    you are right rocky.
nothing gonna change SE from make your site famous. eventhought you have dot info, but all your content are very SEO friendly, then it will be no problem.

CONTENT in KING. just don't forget that.

Schools and information sites. Like PBS television channels that show like discoveries and stuff like that uses .org a lot of times.

So if you going to consider .net good, then might as well throw .org there too because its not too far behind.

For me I think SEO wise it doesn't really matter about TLD. Especially between .com, .net and .org.

Doesn't matter which TLD it is, all are treated equally.
