Is coComment worth it?

    Hi,

I have been using coComment, (http://www.cocomment.com/), on my site for quite sometime now.
The idea is that user comments are added to their server so that users can track their comments all over the place.

It seemed like a cool idea at the time, but I have noticed that my pages are now taking forever to load, (I get an email when a pages takes too long to load).
Their server(s?) is obviously not up to speed anymore and that’s causing my comment system to come to a crawl. To a point where some users don't bother leaving comments, (so I am told).

    What do you think?

    Should I just remove it?
Disable it by default and give an option to my users?
Is there a better system that I could/should integrate rather?

If you think it takes too much time to load, just remove it.

I use it to track the comments I've left, but I don't put it into my blog .
