i hav nt had any decent results with clickbank myself but it is rated well among other's what do you guys think?
A great network to start off with. However it's a learning curve. Only professionals can earn a five or six figure early income. It ain't that easy, but if you are serious about doing business then you are most likely to succeed. Al./
You should firstly find one method which works to promote one product and then copy your method to sale other product.
It really depends on the niche you choose to start off with. Most of the affiliates I work with prefer to promote retail (physical) products instead of eBooks, so you would find those on regular affiliate networks like CJ, Google Affiliate Network and Shareasale.
I think it is a learnign curve - get good at one thing and then expand! Be focused in yur approach - not scattered! It helps me!
It's all about whatever you can do. Some people do really well some people make nothing. So what is best for whom depends on the person and their own skill set.
Clickbank is good when first starting out because you do not need a website to sell their products and you do not have to "apply" or be accepted by the publishers. On the down side, there are tons of crappy products on there. You really have to do some looking to find decent products. Unless you don't really care what you sell someone)
Affiliate marketing is a broad term -- essentially, it means you're a sales person on the web. You can sale anything if you know right strategy and use the right tools. Is Clickbank good? It all depends what you plan to sell and whether there's a market for it. What methods do you plan to use? For the most part, most CB products are digital info-product -- this is assuming you're selling to an audience who wants to read the stuff (or audio) to improve any area of their lives. CB is good since people get the digital product instantly. What about physical products? Those sell the most -- after all, we buy mostly physical products all the time and online (i.e. Ebay, Amazon, and merchants selling physical stuff). The same method of promotion applies. However, merchants that sell physical products usually have a small commission rate (7% or less) while products on CB can have commission rate high as 100% - for newbies, start for digital product...and then you can combine to pre-sell a variety of products later.
I'm new at clickbank and i think their great so far. I've already made some money my advice to all is to give it a try and never give up on your goals good luck all $$$$
