I just had to add a comment in.. Truth be told, I never made a single sale of Clickbank ever since I joined them. And my sites traffic is increasing. I just put a couple of well targeted CB products in the sidebar, and so far no sales....been a long time now without a single confirmed sale. At least when I log in to my CB account, I see NIL..... Is it true that the conversion is so bad unless you're actually running a PPC campaign, without which you won't even make a single sale? Or is it CB screwing with me? After reading some of the threads, I could be inclined to think it's the latter. And the funny thing is, I have even sold Amazon stuff, (people say Amazon is tough...) but CB is looking a little scammier by the day. What does it take to make a Clickbank sale? Unless the problem IS Clickbank....you know what I mean?
I sell pretty much every day with clickbank, But although my traffic is rising the clickbank sales are falling... Amazon is rubbish and my only constant earnings come from adsense. I am looking at dropping clickbank for another network to be honest
sales vary day to day, which does suck, b/c i really would like to have steady income from it. however, they are a reliable network
i have sold a few CB products and had a couple refunds. sucks. ran PPC and i cant seem to find a product that converts well either...been focusing on other programs because of this...
I sold a few subscriptions to witch craft e-book via ClickBank. It was a re-bill so I earned another $4.95 per month. ROFL.......seriously CB does work
ClickBank is not hard to convert if you know what you're doing. But it seems they have some trouble lately. If you really want to succeed, go for being a publisher. They always get the sales. nadavs
You can't just put links/banners on the sidebar and expect to have any success. You need to pre-sell these products. Give them a reason to buy.
But the ebook is so relevent to my site topic, why shouldn't it get even one sale by now? And it doesn't cost a lot of money also. I've sold stuff worth hundreds of dollars but can't sell a single Clickbank book worth $30.
The problem is not really with click bank . I read people making here $200- 500 per day from CB. The same products what you and I see there.I put some CB products very relevant on my side bar and waited for months no year. No sale. later I changed strategy . Marketing is a bit of research. a lot of innovation and a great amount of Luck !
I think all the CB product is so easy to convert, since most CB product have LP. and it does warm a potential customer up.
So you created a single lander page and advertised with Adwords, right? That seems to be the only way to sell CB....and me thinks CB and Google have got some kind of deal there.....it can't explain why sidebar CB ads fail to sell at all.
Because people have to be convinced to buy clickbank products. They don't see clickbank products on TV. The high ticket items you may have sold through Amazon.com is an entirely different ballgame. Those items have been pre-sold through years of marketing already. People already know they want a new TV or whatever. You have to convince them that they want a $39 eBook. Dig? The problem is not clickbank - the problem is your approach. It just won't work in this market. I make clickbank sales but not through banner ads (I've tried that) ... it just doesn't work to put those types of ads up and send a visitor directly to the CB salesletter. It may work if you send those visitors to a pre-sale page that does a good job of convincing the person of the product's value from a 3rd person perspective... That'd be my advice if you are determined to make money from banners (I don't think this is the best strategy though...) But... I guess the really important thing to know is that it's not that clickbank products cant sell, they definitely can. It's just you have to find the right way to sell them. And you've already found one way that doesn't work. So that's good information, apply it!
I don't run PPC to ClickBank (currently) and I still make sales (through SEO) ... sidebar ads don't work with CB because CB products require the person to either already be looking for that solution (ie search whether ppc or organic) or for that person to be convinced of their worth if they are clicking a banner or content ad (ie your own 3rd party landing page) ... so if you want to do sidebar ads you'll have to try the 3rd party landing page approach instead of sending the traffic directly to CB. your hops will go down obviously - but i think sales will go up (if your landing page is good/convincing of course)
not I guess, I have few of my frnds earning more than 100 dollar a day from click bank. They do fb advertising mostly.
i used to like clickbank and when i saw no sales coming in, i turned to amazon and i was very happy because i made a sale within no time, but a last week i just logged in and find out that a cheque was sent to me on the 22 june, i received the cheque yesterday,it is $81.78 I just dont know how i earned it because i left my websites totally, maybe someone got loss to my website and made a sale! lol
If you select clickbank you must be careful what products you promote. They are well known for having rubbish ebooks, software and other junk. Of course there are good items too. The most money i made as affiliate on CB was from background checks and language learning. I always go with products that have a trial period, those convert better for me. i have a product that is bought by each 3 rd visitor. not much money out of it...but just saying! Cheers!
