Just as I'm about to launch a new product, suddenly I can't access my own account...And I can't even seem to access any ClickBank order forms (of my own or other people's products). (From two different computers, cleared the cache, rebooted, etc.) My first thought would be that ClickBank's site is down. But one of my Web guys (on a completely different ISP) has reported being "blacklisted" on & off this week while trying to test some of our new products. He's gotten error messages saying he's accessed CB too often. So I'm wondering: Is ClickBank up and running, but somehow I've been blocked by them? (For the record, I'm a longtime CB merchant with no complaints against me, no accusations of spam, etc.)
Dan, I'm having no issues here. This is the first I've heard of being blacklisted for accessing CG too often. Maybe I should stop checking my commissions 5 times a day!
Although I don't get any message at all -- it just hangs there until it times out -- one of my Web guys earlier this week had been getting messages that said: "Blacklisted for 2 minutes." He did some online research and reported: "Some people say it's because of too many calls to the order form. While building the site, the only way to test the autoresponder format was to place a test order, maybe that's the reason my ip address got 'blacklisted.' " I don't know if they've blocked my entire account or just my own access to it. In other words, I don't know if ANYONE can order anything from my site.
In a conversation with a ClickBank support person today, I was told CB has revamped the entire merchant interface and that probably caused the problems I and others have been having.
Now it's Wednesday morning, and once again I'm locked out of my own account -- and out of access to any ClickBank order form. So, alas, the problem hasn't been solved.
