Is Clickbank Finished

    Hi all,

I've been hearing stories all over the internet that clickbank is dying a slow death because of their affiliate tracking system not working properly (amongst other things).

Just wanted to know if that is true and if so, will people be switching over to another program such as PayDotCom?

I'm fairly new to IM and i've been researching PPC techniques, particularly Adwords. With a view to promoting Clickbank products, but with overall Clickbank sales (apparently) rapidly declining are people still having success with Clickbank products or is this just a too competitive and too unreliable market?

    Thoughts please...

It's still alive and kicking for me as well as the top vendors in the marketplace. I would personally not consider PayDotCom as the alternative to Clickbank. Their whole payment gateway is just paypal; for the customer to pay the vendor there are more pages to click through.

Also with PDC the vendor is responsible for paying the affiliates, therefore a malicious vendor might skip out on paying the affiliates and there's no one to enforce it.

Clickbank is working for most of the affiliates and most of the negitive words you may have heard are just rumors.
I believe, some disgruntled affiliates are spreading these rumors out of frustration or something else.

There are minor problems at clickbank in the hoplink tracking. But, we cant say that clickbank is finished.
It is investigating these issues and developing a new tracking system to solve all problems.

Clickbank has always been imperfect, that is nothing new. If Clickbank is dying now it must have always been dead. I have yet to find one person who is using clickbank successfully try to say that it is dying.

i think these rumors are being spread dishonestly. i think clickbank is doing a pretty damn good job since they installed the new help desk ticket system & upgraded the site.

There's been some down days for me in the past two weeks, but this last weekend was amazing - some of my best days ever. I'd say it's well worth keeping on with, if you're thinking of quitting :)

I certainly wouldn't give up on Clickbank just yet.

Still tons of money to be made!

I don't think ClickBank will ever die... I don't see why that would happen... their service is good and reliable in my opinion.

I prefer clickbank anytime. I had problems with Paydotcom as I found they didn't credit me for sales. I only found out when affiliates wrote to me asking for support. Then I had a vendor who didn't pay. It was only a small amount but irritating that I had to chase for it.

Clickbank is very prompt. No chasing vendors.

Ey, Clickbank is not dead, they stated in their recent press release that they've hit $1,000,000/day milestone, so it's live and kicking.

Just for the rumours, can anyone think that CLICKBANK, with such a huge datbase and the biggest AFFILIATE NETWORK will be finished?

Clickbank is definitely not dead, I am making sales day in and day out. Nothing leads me to believe that there is any problem at all with Clickbank. Probably true, just rumors from people who are upset

People love making money off of others' fear by saying this or that is dying.
