I think it's the new FTC regulations that prevented many scammers from coming up with fake product stories and fake testimonials
Its the new rules. Many people are unable to get their products listed at clickbank, so they are moving to ccbill. There isn't any other reason.
At least the ones that are left hopefully mean less refunds. I finally learned to check the stats to figure out refund rate before promoting anything!
I believe it's a accumulation of various factors, including the global economic crisis striking the globe, however this really shouldn't affect online sales that much. I also believe it's the new FTC regulations which ClickBank has had to implement. Actually when I was at the ClickBank Exchange conference in New York in August, ClickBank said themselves how important this was to them and they aim to weed out all the scammy products; they actually brought in a lawyer to explain all of it! ClickBank won't die, well not for a very long time. They continue to innovate, and the internet is just going to get bigger and bigger with more information products etc. Some people say that the Kindle and eReaders will pose a threat to ClickBank, however I don't believe this will be an issue.
Come on clickbank. no more scam product but quality product..and don't charge a fee to my account if i have a sale. LOL
The crap products are not promoted any more. The affiliates are becoming smart and they know what to promote and what not to. This is a good sign both for us affiliates and the customers. Clickbank is becoming one of the reliable platform for both affiliates and buyers it is the quality that is increasing and i guess we should not worry to much about the quantity statistics.
Hopefully that will kill the turnkey website market too. It seems like almost all the crap listed on flippa is products of clickbank crap.
I doubt it's dying, even if they make less money, in terms of millions, 5 mil is more than 3 mil, but still a hell lot of money
Ok...if quality is what they're after I'm all for it...then again I can give you several examples of products that don't respect Clickbank's policy and FTC rules yet they continue to bring in tons of sales...it's kind of Google monopoly. Same rule doesn't apply to everyone...for some unknown reason...at least unknown to me.
This is a good thing for Interent Marketers, bad for scammers (the 2 aren't related ). More quality on ClickBank means potential buyers who recognize the ClickBank name will convert better because of better quality.
I make much $$ from clickbank.. Just find good product to promote and u will got much $$.. Anyone want to JV with me, pls pm me..we will make much $$
I hear you guys with the elimination of those which are just downright low quality goods. I hope clickbank can become more prestigious with its moves. That can really benefit us all in the long run
