Clickbank seems like a dying trend. More and more people are getting familiar with the notorious hop links so they hit the back button as soon as they see it. I also notice that IM niche Clickbank products get ridiculously high amounts of refunds.
That's not really a new trend - it has been happening for years. Anyone who knows anything about CB knows you can get most products for free...so internet marketers can check out the new systems and guides and know they can easily get their money back. Clickbank isn't really a trend. It's just a payment processor. I think there has been a bit of a lull recently and the quality of the products has dropped off a bit (yet again) but that doesn't mean it wont pick up again in the future.
(By the way, they still owe me money) I tired of CB long ago. They allow too much junk to pass through. Too many launches and re-launches of the same old thing, over and over again. It seems to me that they need to screen what is promoted through them a bit more. I understand that they are not the promoters themselves, and I understand their purpose. Those at the top had a great idea at one time, but they have lost their oomph, and allow anyone, wanting to sell anything to promote through them. I guess if I was unscrupulous I could did out some old ebooks and change a few words and make a bundle with the latest launch. Maybe it isn't CB itself, it's just the money hungry rip off artists that are giving it a bad name. But they do still owe me money, and I guess I'll never see it, because I'll never get any more sales through them. Maybe they planned it that way...
I can only comment own my own experience and so far I've had no problems with clickbank. I have been using them for about 4 months and I've made quite a bit of cash already. I haven't bought anything from the network though, so I can't comment from a buyers perspective.
Wow, you have been making a bit of cash from ClickBank? I am trying very hard to make money from ClickBank but still fail.
I find Clickbank to be rather more focused on taking the cash at the moment rather than ensuring the products are good quality. With all the negativity currently on show around the lack of quality products this may force a change in policy, we sit in hope.
yes clickbank is dead, let's all pour some liquor for our dead homey and move on. Clickbank is dead everyone, turn off your profit streams, cancel all the sales you are making. Best get back to making adsense sites for a huge $1/day, that market is still alive and thriving
What's it matter if it's just internet marketing products that aren't being sold as well? Make something that has nothing to do with the internet. You think anyone bothers googling to see if they can get an instructional video course on wood carving for free? If it's good, people will glance over it, see how good the information is, use it, or maybe just let it gather dust on their harddrives. There's two types of refunders. 1, people who were genuinely dissatisfied with the product. 2, people who planned to refund from the very beginning. You can do something about number 1. And if you're promoting clickbank stuff and not a vender...well, if it sucks, it just sucks.
I don't think CB is dead at all. They are making sales records every year and are a highly profitable enterprise serving many important niches. I agree that some of the product quality is bad, but then it is up to the customer to decide that ahead of time.
it is dying. I'm not even using it for years. probably because its easier to earn with amazon or cj. and its what i'm using too.
sh!t, who's gonna hire us now The only things that are dying are the bogus push button trillion dollar software, and I hope they all die fast. I really blame clickbank for bringing in such crap. thats why the index is having it's worst time ever. Those people are using the poor PPV traffic for their scams and I have recently noticed about 10 products all have the same pattern, those vendors seem to have same mentor
Anything in the IM niche on Clickbank sucks, that's why it gets such high refund rates, if you want low refund rates, promote decent products so the customers won't want a refund..
I stopped using CB as they just keep allowing misleading products to come through without checking them out. Blind sales copies so people have no idea what they are buying. Misleading sales copies as you think your going to get something and you don't without buying an upsell or the product really doesn't have anything to do with what was advertised. Customer service with the vendor stinks. I just don't understand why these vendors want to run their businesses this way. You should be up front and honest with what your selling and I just don't find that with half of the CB products.
I make much more money with CB than I did last fall. But that probably has everything to do with me knowing what I'm doing more so than before. that being said my inventory of CB products hasn't changed much since then.
NO that's not true ClickBank is not dying instead it is growing & progressing rapidly,i'm also using it.
