Since last post 3 sales which put me at $40 on the week. Happy for the improvement, but compared to $1000+ weeks I was having its a killer...Progress not perfection ...
No sales today but I have been having one of my best weeks ever. I think it depends on the product. I switched products and my hop to conversion rate went from 300/1 to 40/1.
Anyone experienced a similar trend yesterday? BEGIN OF DAY - Start of Day - 11:00 - NO SALES (Expected Daily Average 10sales) - 11:00 - 13:00 ----- Sales (Normal flow) - 13:00 - 17 - NO SALES - 17:00 - End of Day - Sales(Normal flow) END OF DAY
Yeah my sales are all over the show!!, I got 3 today and just this last hour I got another 3 sales but then I might not have any forthe rest of the day! Weird but I am getting sales from my other niches so yeah diversifying is certainly paying off.
Ok... I just started this stuff but this is the first time I've had a weird thing happen with sales. Yesterday, I made 11 sales between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. From 5 p.m. last night to 9 a.m. this morning, no sales. That just doesn't seem right to me :/ I usually get 10-15 sales daily spaced out regularly throughout the day.
Is that clickbank time or? As per my comment 2 post above, yesterday I had a strange trend with long periods of no sales as well, something is not right....
I've been checking some other forums and seems some niches are dead right now. "Diversity is the key" as i read somewhere.
Well, don't hold out on us. Which niches are not performing right now? My niche (renewable energy) is still converting, but I'm on board for diversification and I'd love to know which niches are struggling before I choose my next market.
you are probably refering to the economic crisis that resulted in some niches death, but the problem is that these slow sales were/are being experienced at particular hours alone and in particular days. Halloween is still a couple of days away, if people are busy they wownt browse websites - the problem is that they just dont convert...
CST... Not sure what time clickbank is on. As I post this, it is currently ~11:30 a.m. over here and I just got my first sale ~18 hours... after getting 11 sales in an 8 hour period. Maybe people have started shopping mid-day? I guess we'll see if it's just a time thing if my sales pick back up during the day...
Last couple of weeks have been awful, worst ever. Really disappointing as the first week of the month was really quite strong. Over the last week I've had over 1100 hops without a single sale.
I just keep getting refund after chargeback after refund. I am now down to $-10 on the period(week). Traffic is up (almost double from when I was having $1000 weeks)
You probably need to review your products and see if they have high refund rates - forex products are a good example!!
its entertainment products which have a 10-20% refund rate which is consistent with what I am getting, however when you get $200 in refunds and only make $180 worth of sales it hurts.
Yes thats hurts, but its part of the game. Another way to look about refunds positively is to think that if you have refunds you must have had sales so its a good thing lol!
That'd be a lovely thought but these are all refunds from weeks ago when things were good lol...Refunds are currently outpacing sales thats not good :
Thats bad, its true that there were somedays when clickbank had problems during this month but the slow sales are because of the economy, people are trying to save and if they remember that they can ask for a refund and get the money back of previous sales they will... So I would say that this economy situation not only slow sales, but increase refunds as well, especially refunds of sales that were done before the recession... Lets hope that the economy dosent take too long to get back to normality!
Has clickbank changed at all since OCt5 of 08? I have been using CJ since then and have had mild success. CB was pay9ing better in its prime days than CJ. And somehow I still get spot sales that sneak through...
