Neither. This is the really real world. Make the most of what you have people... Other than feeding some worms later on... This is it.
Blogmaster lovely cartoon, I giggled of that. thanks for sharing. this Eva is sexier I think! I wonder from who, she covered herself!
Not sure the bible says that it was Satan - At any rate what occurred was within their own mentality, they themselves sinned probably through complacency. What should / could have been a simple remittance has become ever further from its origin and its dismissal so much more the difficult. - The Bibles accounting is inacurate. To learn for onesselves what was given is the most likely reason for the exercise - - to appreciate what one has to move on beyond the Garden, those two got lazy. God is the barrier and also it is the duty of the Creator to not allow evil, as it is the conquering of Evil that allows all else to prevail. Satan is dead by God and no other (evil) will be allowed to rise again - what inkling arose in Adam and Eve will never be tolerated and must be destroyed including all of mankind if necessary. The Bibles use of evil to suggest it freely exists beyond mans indiscretion is an affront to the existence of the Creator. God is purity, represented by the ultimate goal of Heaven.
Jesus was the Prophet sent by God, just like all other prophet before him like Ibrahim, Ismail, Jacob, Joseph, Noah, Solmon, ..... They all are human and so as the Jesus, How he was born ... it was a Miracle by the God.............. and people who says he was a God, question is why God need to come in the shape of Human, why the God need to come to earth to suffer all the suffering faced by Jesus Chirst....
Jesus was not a prophet. Jesus is the son of God (trinitarian God). Have you heard of prophets raising the dead before or after Jesus? Who can have control of human souls except God himself? In the old testament, when people wanted forgiveness for their sins from God, God required sacrifice of an animal and not any animal...it had to be of a certain qualities (lamb). “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness†(Hebrews 9:22). However, in the new testament, there was no more shedding of blood. Can an animal save the people who died with their sins? Who can save the sins of all humanities but God? God had to come on earth in the form of a human (son of God) in order to be sacrificed. “Look, the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!†(John 1:29).
I'm agnostic -- but, for the sake of argument, let's pretend that G-d exists for a moment. Are you saying that G-d is incapable of forgiveness without having an innocent tortured and murdered? I don't believe you would, as most Christians believe in the omnipotence, and the unlimited power of G-d. Therefore, G-d would have different choices and the ability to forgive without all the slaughtering and shedding of blood, would he not? In reality, has the killing of innocents improved the moral integrity of the "sinners" in any way? It seems like a cruel, senseless act. If I were witness to an event where someone was being forced to carry a cross, being mocked, with an intent to drive nails through there hands, I like to think that I would have the courage to try to stop them in any way that I could.
Slightly offtopic. Went to regular church service today, not messianic. The entire service was held by 2 elders. One of them preachers entirely about how you can lose your salvation. Constantly hammering down Romans and other writings from Paul. The words "fear God" were used at least 50 times and the word "love" around 4. Now you are wondering why I consider most mainstream churches horseshit, fearmongering and tithing-swindle? Yeshua's gospel mentions love 75 times and fear 20 times. What a crock of nonsense. Remind me not to attend a general service again unless I have at least 2 references from people who I have gained to trust with their judgement. But hey, it worked for Dick Cheney ("Terror, terror, terror")
Absolutely not. God can do anything but you have to understand all these series of events of the old testament were to foreshadow the coming of Jesus and his sacrifice. God could forgive the sins without sacrifice but shedding of blood had a true meaning of forgiveness in the old testament. The shedding of blood stopped after Jesus sacrificed himself. Trinitarian God had to send his son (the most precious) - like father to son, to show us how much he loves us. The shedding of blood in the old testament is not a sign of slaughter. One had to sacrifice something in order to ask for forgiveness. The lamb (a symbol of purity and son of god) was used. The Romans and Jews refused God because they did not expect God to come to the world in the form of a human. They expected the powerful God with extreme light and thunder-like voice as they knew him from the old testament. Truth is, yes God exists in this powerful way but no human being could face him that way directly...the holy spirit energy is powerful enough to kill any human. So, God had to take the form of a man in order to be one of us and become sacrificed, yet he still had some form of authority.
@ Luke...........can you tell me who wrote the first bible and when? and also whats the guarantee that it has not been changed with the passage of time.............and whats the guarantee that people who wrote that exactly quoted the exact words said by Jesus.....??
Hmmmm no violence.... But i think your first post is somewhat of violence to other religion. Why we still believe? first i admit that i believe in Christ because my parents believe it, if my parents is Islam, maybe now i will be Islam, if Budha, I will Budha (it's just maybe) secoond, from my religion studying, i have realized that to understand bible, it is not just like we get it with mind like our debaters do. We can't just understand it with brain, interpret it raw. not like that. We have to use our mind, heart and soul. then i came to conclusion, what Jesus brings is good, no matter whoever HE is. Then how can i believe that he is God? it is still what i'm looking for. But How graceful who believe although not seeing it. Peace be upon you... God Bless
So, in other words, G-d would have the power to forgive without innocents being tortured and murdered in his name. Though, he apparently decided to require it anyway, even without any real pay off, except for, of course, the creation of misery for the innocent. Other than the fact blood sacrifice of innocents is mentioned in the old testament, do you know why this is so pleasing to G-d that your sins would all just be forgiven? If "these series of events of the old testament were to foreshadow the coming of Jesus and his sacrifice" -- are you suggesting this was all predestined, as he was already aware that mankind was designed to be incapable of following all of these arbitrary laws?
Regarding innocent animals, I can simply tell you that animals were very precious to the people back in the old testament however, they must sacrifice it in order to ask for forgiveness. It was like a bridge to reach to God. It's not torturing, That's not how people saw it.. It was a hard thing to do since these animals did cost them a lot of money and It was followed by deep prayers. If God made forgiveness a very simple matter, then everyone wouldn't care and would continue with their sins. Let me clarify it a little, people killed animals to eat; therefore, you have to kill it in order to eat it in order to survive. Similarly, You have to sacrifice an animal in order to survive your eternity and ask for forgiveness from God. Why animals? God Made animals and all living creatures. We are not worth to question God's intentions but it was the most suitable form of shedding of blood. "this was all predestined, as he was already aware that mankind was designed to be incapable of following all of these arbitrary laws? " Yes, of course. God is capable of knowing everything. The old testament was to prepare the people for the first coming of Jesus (as evident from prophets and events). On the other hand, The new testament is to prepare people for the second coming of Jesus (again, series of quotes through out the bible indicate certain events that must happen before the glorious second coming). God Bless,
Faith my friend is above all things. I believe that the bible is the word of God. Do I think that God would just let someone manipulate his words? Of course not. Lots tried and failed. People sometimes underestimate God and his words. The gospels of Luke, Mark, Matthew and John all wrote similar events even though they were in different areas and time when they wrote it which indicated accuracy. They all accompanied Jesus. After all, True Christians do not read the bible for evidence...they only experience the words of God through the holy spirit.
Take nothing literally except for the lessons to do good, the rest are symbols within symbols. Christ is the force/title given to the man/archetype/metaphor we refer to as Jesus. Christ is our positive aspect when we emulate the sun, radiating our energy (through monetary charity or volunteering etc) for the service and life of others. The energy that Christ encompasses positively is Lucifer, our unbridled instinct, which like a loaded gun, is extremely powerful and use of the energy is judged upon where and when it is released. In the Christian/Jewish/Egyptian/Legal system, the Judge (Father/Reverser of Entropy/Keeper of Equilibrium) is presented a case when a soul has left the body and is petitioning to enter Heaven. The Accuser (Satan/Adversary/Mother/Lucifer) brings about the charges that soul accumulated during its life, the sins and crimes committed, while the Defendant (Son/Jesus/Redeemer) pleads for the soul's innocence and innate purity. After much deliberation, the Judge will either see the heart weighing less than the feather, or as is usually the case, the soul will be too heavy with sin to be let inside. So then the defending attorney, caring deeply for his client and unable to have defended him properly, takes the punishment the soul was going to receive upon himself; sign of the perfect love and sacrifice we must emulate. Again, take not the family titles literally, as our current society does not view the family correctly so comparisons would only hinder the beauty of our truest interconnected family. Christ means Anointed One, the one chosen through being administered the rite of Baptism: The cleansing through the Christic use of our inner water (think carefully). The name in Hebrew for the character we know as Jesus is actually a bastardization of his original name, and instead of meaning the chosen one it means 'may his name be blotted out from history.' His character was born of a woman who was seen as a whore (which history later made Mary Magdelene and his mother was the pure Holy Mary) so when people started following this man's teachings, there was much persecution to his name. The Bible as most Christians know it doesn't even begin to touch the extent of Jesus' persecution, or how contemporary it is to modern day. The character Jesus, as he has done countless times through history, brought social upheaval by demonstrating that the most complete revolution is one where all people strive for the same goal. Obviously this goal cannot be outward, as we are all born of differing chemicals so our opinions will always be flawed and communication will always me misinterpreted So instead, the truest revolution comes from when we inwardly transmute our Luciferian energy into our Christic force. The character Jesus always teaches to love others as the Self, for all are connected, and to never let their worship stray; to always be truthful. This message is ancient. This message, in all incarnations, brings about hatred from the world and from maybe even friends and family. Newton later described this as equal but opposite reactions. Jesus is represented as the Sun/Son in the Jewish Kabbalah through the Sephira Chockmah, the Father (Crown of Limitless Light) is Keter, and Holy Spirit/Holy Mother/Luna/Lucifer is Binah, but Jesus, the persona we must all strive to emulate, is all three within one, restoring perfect balance of Fury/Understanding/Compassion. The Garden though...That is a story for another day...But there were more characters involved than just Adam and Eve and more than 1 Holy Tree. Perfect contemporary relationship story about wandering eyes and lust and innocence through innocence lost. Take some time on your day of rest to reflect on why would the first two people, essentially perfect near-god beings, succumb to the desire of the knowledge of the Gods?
Seems to me that if you want to tell people what the Bible says, that maybe, just maybe you should read it first? You may find what you were taught was actually a lie, hence, the confusion you have about what the Bible says.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but this is who Jesus was mistranslated after: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hesus Druid god Hesus
Why are you people arguing with a Copy-Paste Muslims desperately trying to prove that Jesus is no god and the only true god is the crappy Allah?
