I had steady traffic but didn't check chitika revenue since it was so low anyway. But it seems that since May 2013 I have been getting ZERO dollars out of them! Is anyone having the same experience?
They are not though I feel they take benefit of most webmaster by taking their traffic but offers none in return, so I would suggest better look for other options where you can earn at least something for traffic
Haven't used them in a very long time. When I did there were no good results when helping a client for their pet company. I setup Adsense for them and the benefits were much better than that company.
Hi guys, Chitika customer support here. We're sorry to hear that a few of you are unhappy with the revenue you're making. We'd be more than happy to look into your individual cases/sites to see exactly why that's happening and how we can help fix it! Whether you use us alone or together with AdSense (we allow you to set up AdSense or another provider as a backup service), we want to answer any questions you have. Feel free to ask your questions here or drop us a line at !
Well, that's pretty quick to get them on the forum. Wonder who sent the message.. Thanks Chitika for joining in. I'll have another look then if you're allowing adsense as a provider
We're always on the lookout for people with questions. Thanks for reconsidering us! Let me know if there's anything I can answer for you.
the problem is that you dont have good ads to serve... you have same old ads that everyone has seen for years... you have nothing new to offer and it is a disaster what you do to webmasters by tellling them that their traffic is low quality... while the real truth is that you dont have any interesting ads...
Hey LWS, can you send us some screenshots of the ads you've been getting ()? If our advertisers are not serving quality ads then we want to fix the issue!
Your publishers, not advertisers, serve what you give them... I dont see how an advertiser can serve an ad. Can't you see yourself that clicktrough on ads is enormusly low? And when publisher asks "Why the clicktrough is so low?", you ansver "Because your website has low quality traffic!" According to networks the only quality traffic are people with big pocket who come to the website and search for ad unit, then look carefully trough all the ads and when they are sure they will buy then they click it and buy the product or the offer converts somehow.
Our publishers display the ads that our advertisers provide. We have found that quality traffic doesn't come with "big pockets" but typically with a high volume of U.S./U.K. users. Our suggestion in this case is to optimize your site for U.S./U.K. traffic. If we find that a user isn't likely to click, then we won't show an ad, thus preserving a publisher's click-thru rate and CPM. I'd be happy to explain in further detail -- feel free to email us!
Same problem here. They was my 1st choice but earnings was for laughing. After that i tested few more networks and to be honest, even the worst networks gived more then 0.01$ for 1m impressions Also its interesting that all other network received 50-100 clicks pir day, chitika was only witch recorded 1-8 clicks I contacted support once and gived up.
I think its nothing new about that, they always had low cpm rate but good thing is I have not seen their ad redirect so in a way its good
There is more networks without redirects, at rhis moment: - CPMStar - PremiumCPM Many others are ok bud there are popups for mobile users. Like: CpmFun, qadarba, intag... Mobile users receive popups all the time.
