Is chicago the worst place to live in the world?

I have visited the place a few times recently and the place has got to be the nastiest place to live in the world. the peopls are the rudest and place is a dive. dirty. anyone else been the chitcago and found the same thing

 

I've never been but it looks quite nice in pictures/movies *shrugs*

 

I have never lived in Chicago, but I have a step-brother that lives there. He seems to be happy with it.

I've visited Chicago several times and loved it. I found it to be a very fun, active and safe place to visit. Chicago is my favorite big city.

 

I have family in Chicago as well and it is a nice city as long as you stay away from a few nasty areas. You want a dirty ass city? Come to Baltimore or Washington DC these are two scummy ass places.

 

LOL, I was just expecting more from a big city. Granted smatts, washington is not that great. okay at the risk of getting the biggest flame of my life, I love NY. I love the people, the place is clean and tidy.

still, i will never go the that dump chicago - yuk, needed 3 baths to wash to crap out of head.

 

I have never been to Chicago yet but I don't think its the worst place to live in based on movies and tv shows about the place.

 

I can't argue with that

Alot of people say Chi is great city on summer

 

My City is beautiful if you're in the right neighborhoods.

One visit to downtown will take your breath away, so as long as your not visiting Chicago's South Side, your in for a trip.

Would atleast be in the running for the worst place in the world. Just becuase people in Chicago are kind of rude, is nothing compared other countrys. god, americans need to stop being so stuck up. Think how people like this picture are living. and americans stub there toe, and say "well, there goes my day!"

 

Chicago is pimp. It has very cool architecture, and a lot of night life.

I've been to Chicago and really enjoyed it, but I don't know if I would want to live there. I'm used to more of a small-city environment so I probably wouldn't want to live in a city like Chicago. Maybe someday, though.

 

Well, Milwaukee is right down the street, basically...

 

I think detroit would be bad because of the crime and murders. I agree that thier are alot worse places in the world you could live.

 

Louisiana is real shady. Chicago has to be in better shape.

Detroit is bad. I live in Michigan and I don't even go to Detroit....

I've visited several big cities and the dirtiest one I have been to was Toronto.
