john it looks like we are in the same sittuation. terrible aint it all the work we do marketing then the costumer gets a refund days later, after reading and using the whole product.
yes, mytvtalk, it's really annoying after working really hard we get those sales and than.................
apples2 Yeah, in the long run it should help clickbank. It will force vendors to raise the quality of a product to lower refunds. I think it's also going to separate the people that support their product from those that ignore emails. The save a sale deal only helps if the vendor supports his product and communicates with customers, so good vendors will benefit. I know some vendors that once the sale is done, the customer is dead. No email replies to customer questions. No support at all. I'm wondering if that's why Clickbank started sending out emails to customers with a link to a refund page. When someone wanted a refund and contacted a bad vendor, they got no response to their emails. i agree with you apples2
just forget every thing and reply to this "if McDonalds put up a refund button, and allowed people to use it even after they had eaten the meal? How many free meals do you think they'd give away?" please reply this before saying that clickbank is doing good Cheers
THIS IS SO FREAKIN UNBELIEVABLE!!! Finally I started to make a sale every day and now everyone is refunding the one product I'm good with! Before the new refund policy sh1t I didn't have ANY refunds out of 50 sales!!!! And yes, the McDonalds example is a good one. However if you start to yell with the manager in on M because you're not Lovin It then you get back your money. BUT IT'S HARD!!! It's not like after you eat you just walk back to the cashier they don't even ask anything just silently give you back your money... Aahh. I'm done with CB.
I started a thread 35 days ago when this system was actually launched- http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1376087 And as we all are observing here...The refunds are more now. The only way out would be to collectively contact clickbank and ask them to go back to the previous system. Anyone up for it?
PhilipR, not all the products are crap, even I don't promote forex, make money, betting, run car on water kind of stuff. But if its good for whole buying cycle then it will be good for affiliates eventually.
I know all of the products are not crap. I was asking if the products that have all of these refunds are crap. I have no idea, but this seems to make sense...
