    Canada and the USA have intertwined economies as part of NAFTA, so while we are separate countries we have similar economic goals. Canada does have other dependencies, for instance their military is pathetic and to get anywhere they rely on the USA to get there. If anything Canada is a territory of the UK.

    Of course Canada is in the US, like Zimbabwe and Chile...Duh...It's a matter of fact that, as we speak, President Obama went to Japan to make Japan the official new capital of the USA...

    Both are different countries, but its very easy to move from Canada to US & vice versa. Even the laws not very strict to move from CA to US & US to CA.

    They should make this thread a poll. But no Canada is a country of its own.
    I'm surprised the US are claiming Canada as one of their own. TV programmes and magazines usually suggest a more mutual dislike between these two nations.
