    What would make Canada better if this damn canadian dollar dropped. What the hell is up with it and why is the american so low. This was the only good part about canada really even with the made up advantage i said in the other post. DAMN!!! Come on you damn dollar CAD dollar DROP!!!

    As I said before, Alberta may be a good place but it's still expansive. As for the unstable weather, it's totally true, yesterday it was like -15 or -20 celcius and today it's like 5 celsius. Snow is melting and everyone wears light spring coats or t-shirt.

    Because if the canadian dollar is weaker I can get more of it because I get paid in US currency. It's outrageous how low the american these days. 1 USD is 1.16CAD .. Like someone mentioned in the rep, I do too miss the 1.5 exchange rate, that would make a HUGE impact.

    For a long time, people from Quebec wanted to get out of the Canada but we're not rich enough to do that (mainly because of a bad management from the government). The Alberta will probably be the first province to do it.

    They don't pay provincial taxes, just federal, and they have a better economy in general.

    Well, taxes are high in 90% of the world, but isn;t that what accountants are for? There are loads of ways to get your taxes lowered and a good accountant can do that.

    Don't know what socialized medicine means, but doesn't the government pay for all the health care? Aren;t medicines included in that?

    No, they rape us for medication almost as bad as in the states but a bit less I must admit. Basiclly anything like doctor visits and blood-work and some surgeries are free but there are always twists with many things
