Is buying very cheap traffic is a good marketing plan?

buying traffic is a waste of money. better to spent it on backlinks.

 

Well yea and most video, articles, news and games sites (which contains all of those 4)

 

Keep in mind that traffic needs to be targeted because most people on the net are looking for something specific.

Imagine you have a store in the mall selling antique bottle caps. You could have thousands of people walk by your store, but if they weren't interested in antique bottle caps the foot traffic would be useless. It works the same way online.

Now, you're saying you want to use the traffic to make money through CPM. The thing is that CPM companies know this too, and if they see that the traffic isn't performing well they will drop you.

 

You should stay clear of such sites. They use automated scripts to register impressions for your site. If you are running an affiliate, its a drain on your budget for non-targeted trafic; if you are running Adsense, it is against the TOS.

 

In a nutshell this is basically why buying traffic sucks.

 

Well in my experience this kind of traffic have been quite useless. I once purchased 10,000 visitors of so called targeted traffic, and I haven't received a single sale from it. Now it was very cheap but it was still a waste of money. Maybe it works well depending on the site you're promoting...

 

I also just get try to check it out myself for 1k traffic. Look like its not a quality but just quantity traffic..
