Is Buying Link will get punished by google?

hi everyone..1st of all I'm sorry if my english is bad..I'm from Indonesia..I would like my blog to be no.1 in gogle for a very competitive keyword..And I want to do it soon..So i want to ask you..Is buying link will be good one to increase my blog in SERP? Will google punish blog that sell or buy link...I appreciate Any feed back..Thanks..

 

If you buy links from good websites and blogs it will surely increase your ranking.
If you start buying links from websites that scream about selling links than you won't have any positive effect.

 

I have heard this before and while I am sure it is true i do wonder how they can tell... Google ads itself has plenty of ads come up offering paid links!

 

Buying links from a quality blogs and websites will surely help your blog to come in ranking. Google will not punish if you buy links.Google only punishes bad links.

somewhere down 2008, i read about this issue, i think buying link to only reputable website, or popular website wont affect your google status.

 

You should be okay buying links aslong as the sites that are linking you aren't bad/spam

 

how can google tell if you've bought a link? how would they tell the difference between a normal link and a paid one? i don't think they can, so it should not matter.

 

if it is a relevant site, and you don't submit like 1000 links in a day in bad neighbourhood sites... it does not matter if you have purchased it

 

The only factor for Google is if a link or keyword is logical. If that's taken care of,rest will fall in place.

 

If you buy links from irrelevant sites then yes it will hurt your rankings and google will also not like it.

But if your links are from relevant sites then you are in safe zone.

if buying link from related theme as well as from good PR, then those links are effect SERP.

 

You can get slapped, but you have to push it pretty far. More likely, you'll just waste money buying links from sites which have had their ability to pass PageRank removed.

 

I agree its probably a waste of money in general, I think I would only pay for a link in the yahoo directory to be honest.

 

Buy the link if the site is somewhat reputable and is ranked pretty well in Google.

Hey, you're new here but you DO make sense... totally agree with you... as long as it's logical.

 

Google's official policy is that they don't approve of "paid" text links.

However, they themselves sell sponsored text links on their own search results pages.

 

I think as long as the site you're buying from isn't specifically trying to sell text links to beat Google, it's OK. I've personally bought text link ADVERTISEMENT from Websites with good results. When I've tried to buy them from Websites that are in the business of selling links (like the ones on text link brokerages) I found that my sites SERPs would drop.

If it's a reputable site you shouldn't have to worry.
