At this time last year the economy was growing rapidly. I think things were pretty good for just about everyone. Here we are now with an economy limping along. How is it effecting your business? Are you spending more or less money on marketing? It seems there are two schools of thought; one you spend more on advertising during down periods and two, we've tried that and it doesn't work because nobody has money!
I totally agree with you but sometimes dedication puts you on trail regardless what happened to your business and being optimistic also a factor.
I think the problem here is, every one has money, but they are very cautious to spend it. The one who makes them spend, is the one who wins.
You need to spend money to make money. But yeah always got to keep yourself ahead of the game and step ahead of everyone else.
last year at this time the economy was still in the toilet, it's been there since 2008, but it's just that people afraid to spend their money right now. I think the economy is getting better a month at a time, but it's still far from where it should be. Business is getting better, just barely enough for me to realize it
In my opinion, running a business should have an effective planning. If everything is well-planned, then the process and transactions can be undertaken smoothly.
last year ad rates were a lot higher than this year, so things have been more challenging this year. But I'm hopeful for the future.
My marketing budget is still remain intact during the econ down turn time. The business gain more momentum during that time due to I expand it to more niche mainly cater to unemployed people.
