So tell me, Mister Genius, if Bush went to war for cheap oil then WHERE THE HELL IS MY CHEAP OIL???? I don't know how much oil costs in your part of the world, but in the Good Ol USA they're the highest they've ever been across the board. Please, explain that to me.

Do you know how much is spent on military budgets a year worldwide? its $900+ billion and How much of this is spent by the U.S.? its 50% of it.
What percent of US military spending would ensure the essentials of life to everyone in the world, according the UN? the answer is10% (that's about $40 billion, the amount of funding initially requested to fund our retaliatory attack on Afghanistan)

that is where the Oil is going my dear friend and if u remember this quote "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter"? by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr , and start implementing it , you will be a better judge of whats happening around the world!

Pardon my French, but now you're just spewing numbers bullshit you heard someone else say, but your feeble brain wasn't quite able to comprehend. Now for the last time, if we went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq for cheap oil, then where the hell is my cheap oil????

Now, if you can't answer that, just say you can't answer that, and the next time you get a "thought" into your head, just let it go.

It wasn't for cheap oil, it was for the control of oil.

Maybe you and "moq" should get together and hash out your conspiracy theories, then come back here and enlighten us mere mortals. I hate it when two members of the Foil Hat Brigade butts heads in public. It's so sad. Can't we all just get along?

its not sad at all, what is sad is when intellectual people like u close ur eyes to the truth. the truth is american oil companies,( Reports say DONALD RUMSFELD is related to one of them), are based in IRAQ now, and have full control over the oil in Iraq, why they are inflating the rates of oil is what u should ask them not us, you should ask yourself why inspite of acquiring the second largest pure and refined resources of oil on earth, they are not decreasing the rates.
just to help u in enlightening ur thoughts, one of the reasons is that by acquiring the oil resources they are keeping usa at minimum risk keeping in mind the future needs of the country.

i m not saying that it is bad to be on the path of progress but the process of acquiring those resources by killing, molesting and ruining a fully developed country is not the way a developed country should have done it.

It's DONALD RUMSFELD . . . Maybe you should learn to spell people's names correctly before you talk trash about them. Might help with your credibility which is sorely in need of help.

    Huh?

Wow, I'm getting morality lessons from someone who uses "u" and "ur" because, apparently, typing out "you" and "your" was too much of a strain on his intellectual capacity. Although curiously he types the full word out sometimes, but not other times. Makes me wonder if he didn't just cut and paste some of those actually comprehensible statements, merging them in with his own wacky, barely English comments.

Whatever, dude. Learn to think for yourself instead of regurgitating crap you heard someone else say in a forum somewhere.

I think you should gaining some knowledge about the wider world before making laughable remarks like that. Oil is dirt cheap in the United States compared to most countries around the world: that's why so many Americans can afford to drive SUVs and other gas-guzzlers. Yes, it may be more expensive than it has been in the States, but Europeans are amazed at how cheap it is over there.

It is so many times more expensive in Europe: it is so pricey here in the UK that I and many 'professional' people I know can't afford to own a car.

If it was so expensive, you would not own a car just as tens of millions of Europeans don't.

Who would have thought, no one knows where the oil is? Cognitive dissonance in it's finest hour.
