Hi everyone, I keep hearing about people having problems with their articles and USFREEADS. It seems that even if you use a low competition keyword, your articles/ads don't get listed as easy. Lately a lot of people including myself are having problems with Google, their articles show up on the top listings for a day or so and then it moves to page 3 or 4 and few days later it moves again. Has anybody experience this? Is there a solution? Thanks, Ivan
dont use USFEEADS... make yourself a quality site instead, at least 25 pages large, and you get indexed in no time!
I've dabbled with Bum Marketing and still find it as effective today as it was when I started 8 months ago. I've written a handful of articles on the "golf swing" niche and posted them to ezinearticles. They appeared very rapidly in google and held position long enough to make 5 sales of an clickbank affiliate product. Of course I couldn't link directly so had to go via a landing page. All in all I think Bum Marketing has got some mileage yet!
I'll definitely agree that Bum Marketing is as effective as it has ever been. A bunch of my articles still hold the #1 spot on Google for the keywords I was targeting. They bring in sign ups for my mailing list and targeted traffic to my site. What more can I ask?
I think Bum Marketing is a heck of a lot more effective if you make some basic modifications to the system. Number 1 is not linking directly to an affiliate site, but to a site of your own instead. Then, even if your article never makes the front page of Google, you've still got a PR6 link pointing to your site. Your Ezine Article could point to more articles on your site on the same topic, along with affiliate links and Adsense. Or, you could point to an affiliate review. Or better yet, point to a well-written opt-in page and get a subscriber to a list that you can market to over and over again. In the long run, those articles will get you a lot more mileage that way than pointing those PR6 links to an affiliate site. Linda
If you want to keep your usfreeads listed high in the serps you'll need to get some backlinks with the anchor text you are targeting, otherwise it's short lived.
I agree with Linda. Bum Marketing is still effective and I beleive it will continue to be so. Don't overlook the value of having the articles point to your site. stavra
I tried Bum Marketing for a while, but I burnt out. I made 2 Clickbank sales for $23 a piece, and both of those came from just one of the many, many articles that I wrote, but I'll probably never even get than money because I need 5 sales from Clickbank until I can receive payment. I am in no way putting down bum marketing, its a great system, I'm more blaming myself for giving up on it.
I think that is the keep with any of this IM stuff and I guess life in general. You have to stick with it. Once you get enough articles out there that are targeted to the right keywords you can see nice results. Some of the sales will come form articles you forgot you wrote! Stavra
Thank you guys...it looks like writting actual articles is more effective than using USFREEADS. I admit that I have been doing more USFREEADS than actual articles due to lack of time but I will start working on it again very soon. Ivan
One more question guys...Is it more effective to use a Blog or a Website to direct your traffic for your articles? Ivan
I have a website, and a blog. But I put a link to my website in my articles, as well as an opt-in splash page.
