I planned to buy a new domain and hosting. Blue hosting provides hosting with free domain. Shall i buy hosting with that domain ?

I'm using them for small sites. Good for one site per package. There is a file count limitation (50k) so don't plan anything big. As long as you are aware of this and it suits your needs it's a decent package for the money.

I'm using Bluehost for web hosting with no problems. However, to register domains I recommend Godaddy. It is better to register your domains with a different company that from which you buy hosting.

Hmm, what's your reasoning for buying domain from another provider? I'm on several hosting services and sometimes I buy them in the same package. Usually and if I have time I like to keep them on Name dotcom as in one central account. However, this is the case for maybe half of my domains. The rest are either scattered with hosting providers or other name registrars. The only thing that I can see is if I move my site then I would have to pay the transfer fee with some hosts. Is this why you don't recommend using the same service? Just wondering if there is a technical side to this. I would say that they work well either way. As long as servers are up domains connect and/or redirect seamlessly 99% of the time.

I don't recommend Godaddy for web hosting, only for domain registration IMO.

    I hope you're not serious?

This is true, what these "unlimited" providers aren't telling you is the inode limit.

Agree completely, Godaddy is good for registration only. For hosting, try Hostgator and Hostnine - they have pretty good deals.

Yes, with Bluehost you cannot pay monthly, only 12, 24 or 36 months. However, you can pay monthly with Hostgator and using a coupon you can get your first month for just 1 cent.
