When i read the stats in dashboard, i see the following? Credits Earned Today: xxx Credits Earned Last 7 Days: xxx Your Traffic Today: xxx Your Traffic Last 7 Days xxx Total Referrals In Your Network: xxx Referral Traffic Today: xxx Referral Traffic Last 7 Days: xxx But i do not see any referral traffic from them to my site. When i try to check those number by using google analytics, i see that there are no traffic from them. Maybe i should remove the blogrush from my site? Should i do it?
The traffic won't be from blogrush, it will be from other blogs displaying their widget. Also the referral traffic the traffic on the blogs that you have referred to give you credit, not who visited your blog.
It's free, and might come in useful. So why not use it? But I'm still waiting for them to publish click statistics to see if to ditch it or not.
I don't know why they launched the site when they were not finished with the systems! Seems all crap, so thinking to remove!
Personally I don't advice you to keep it because you can't trust google dealing with such a program. Still, there are many people who uses it with no problems
Blogrush has been useful for me because i got in early and got alot of referalls under me generating exponential impressions for me. Unless you get alot of good referalls under you its worthless. Its almost like a pyramid scam. But Blogrush has at least one ppc link in each widget, so with billions of impressions they are making money on the small clickthrough ratio for their ppc or sponsored links. If your earning revenue from adsense its worthless because theirs such a small click through ratio on the widget and then a small click through ratio for your adsense. Lets say you get 100,000 impressions in one day and 1 percent click and view your blog. thats a thousand visitors to your site. then you have a 5% click through ratio for adsense. so that makes you like 50 bucks in one day, and thats with a ridiculous amount of page impressions which most users wont get. If you have affiliate banners the same situation, it would still be not super duper, because the traffic probably didnt come to your site intending to buy anything, unless its some ridiculous deal the just happens to appeal to the visitor. Also, most sites using blogrush are webmasters, I highly doubt very many real bloggers who get real visitors will ever use it, so traffic will never be that great anyways.
Traffic from Blogrush will show with a referral string of something to the effect of "blogrush.com" or widget.blogrush.com (i dont remember exactly).. When i first started using it (when it was new), I got quite a bit of traffic from it, but it's slowed down since then.. I still like it and will continue to use it.. for those of you that don't like it please remove it from your blog - that just leaves more room for me..
I'm hearing buzz that it's more like a ponzi scheme. You aren't the only one who is having doubts. I have not gotten around to installing it and may not from some of the reports I've heard here and on my forum.
I might be removing the widget soon too, I'm just waiting to see how many of my blogs were impressed on other sites. I know from Google Analytics that I only received 13 visitors from it.
