Is blogging still useful for making money?

Hi Guys,

Been quite sometime since I last was running a blog to make some extra side cash.

But is blogging still a viable option for making money considering all the competition.

Pls suggest.

A friend just started a site in a particular niche in real estate and is doing great.
He has no coding skills with all the drag and builder sites available nowadays...

 

Blogging is still a good and effective way to make passive money online. All you have to do is keep adding quality content to your blog and monetize it with affiliate programs or Google Adsense.

 

Yes, blogging would be a great way of making money but make sure you have to post content for the user not only for the search engine. Search engine loves the content but if it is not user friendly you will not get the clicks.

Still, thinking to stick to a particular niche for broader growth.

yes if you done in effective way you get benefit from blog.

 

Blogging is a good way of making money. If you have quality content you may try for Adsense. Also product review and affiliate commission is a good way of making money from blog.

 

I don't get why people "blog." It's the same exact thing as what websites or news sites do, except it's not called blogging.

Just make a site for your niche, like if you're doing jewelry, rather than do Mary's Jewelry Blog, do "Jewelry Insider" or "Jewelry Journal." Then write your blogs in the 3rd person.

Readers will find it more credible because it's impersonal and doesn't seem novice. Doing this opens you up to lots more avenues like a Shop section and whatnot. You can also pay cheaper writers to submit content under their author name so you can keep their writing distinct from yours, but still enjoy the benefits of SEO from their content.

Also, if you have ads on a site like that, readers will tolerate it more rather than a personal blog. If they see ads on a personal blog they'll think you're trying to make money. If they see ads on a jewelry (professional) site, they'll just think it's part of business.

 

Yes it is still possible to make money from blogging, but things have changed quite a bit, now people tend to make their money by promoting affiliate products because sponsored posts and text link ads have gone right out of the window since Google announced it was killing off its Page Rank.

 

You can certainly still make money blogging. As long as you write content that is of high quality and provides people with value.
