Is Blog Commenting a Good Strategy to Earn Traffic?

I don't see anyone generating a high amount of traffic... BUT! If you have the time, don't let me stop you!

I comment on blogs every now and then. It should be a habit.

 

You don't but it's a great way to build backlinks and traffic is just a bonus.

This is one of the easiest method to gain backlinks and you can even gain some traffic from it. Blog commenting should be done if you have time because it'll be a big help.

 

Yeah, you should also include nofollow blogs because nofollow backlinks still count but you'll not be getting any PR Juice but still good.

 

Whether you commenting on do-follow or no-follow blogs you can get the traffic.But by only commenting on the do-follow blogs you can get the backlink to your site.

 

I've done blog commenting for clients - but only on DO-follow blogs, so, yes, it does work, if done correctly - even if it's paid.

I quit blog commenting because I think guest posting is much more valuable than this. It's generating more traffic and quality traffic.

 

yeah it is, the comments must be posted in high PR blogs that match with your website niche.

 

If you comment on blogs targeted to your niche, it can be a good traffic generator.

 

I do guest posting a lot as well and generated a good amount of traffic. In article exchange you will not only get a quality backlink but also a good content which makes it better than link exchange.

 

While dofoolow blog comments can produce some back links for your site [if the comment is not deleted], there really are more valuable way to spend your time. I dont know about any of you but I havent the time to find read and comment on post when I can create good content that will do more for back links any way.

That just my take on it hope it make some sence.

 

How will your good content be read and people link to it if all you do is that because you'll not be ranking in SEs and be getting less traffic. Better do both, build good content and do blog commenting to build links and rank in SEs.

 

Commenting on blogs can generate traffic. A very good way to generate traffic and build your brand

 

yeah, specially when you are starting to build links... It really help.

 

Whether it attracts a ton of traffic or not it is still a good idea especially if your market is small. I have a blog on mental health and early on most of the traffic came from commenting on similar mental health sites. Not only does it build links to your sites you can also promote relationships with the people in the niche market.

You should give it a try since blog commenting for me is the easiest way to gain one way backlinks regardless if it's nofollow or dofollow.
