Recently I've found "blekko.com" on Quirk Search Status. Is it reliable?

if you compare it with the Google than it is not, but in itself it is a good search engine.

    HI.
Blekko is a reliable search engine that was created last November but still Google is the best search engine and safe too.

I started using Blekko a few months ago and it's concept is interesting. It's not as easy as Google for use by the general population (aka: the slashtag functions), but it claims to display higher quality results and pages through human (not robot) curation. While high quality is nice, using only certain approved sites may leave out a lot of results. Blekko is reliable if you trust other people to decide what is relevant. According to them, they are biased towards quality sites and they do not attempt to gather all the world's information, so I feel that their reliability depends on your own purpose in searching.

As for SEO abilities, Blekko seems to do a decent job with its own crawler, and although the data isn't that in-depth, it's free.

I gave Blekko a chance and found it to be the absolute worst, almost as spammy as AltaVista before it imploded. The top SERPs were polluted with many expired domains, really old pages that haven't been updated for 10 years. If there is a bias, it is towards the worse sites the internet has to offer in my area. The best sites don't even show up at all with the DOMAIN NAME in the search box! Blekko is worthless, these clowns have a lot of work to do. I checked the SEO data... also useless.
