Is Bing just a Brand?

Its mainly a product. One that Microsoft could give two s**ts about.

Back when I started online it was all about MSN, then Google came along (noone I knew really used Yahoo except for Geocities) and at first people were still all MSN, then slowly shifted, later MSN changes to Live, now if you go to live.com it goes to bing.. so I wonder if we will see it becomming Bing Messenger or Windows Bing Messenger. Pfft. Everyone I know still calls it msn messenger...

I see the bing ads on TV and just laugh. Like hell that's gonna make me come back.

 

Bing is a decent search engine , For Good images i use to search in bing .

 

Bing is useless.

What the hell is it! If microsoft is saying its a SE then it is! What if i say a boy a girl! Don't be stupid and don't try to make idiotic comments!

I will agree their image search is very unique, Microsoft gets a +1 in that department. Still... for all the marketing they did for this search engine, you'd expect a lot more!

 

Bing is a great domain name. other than that I don't see any real improvement as Microsoft tried to make it sound like. One thing is sure I will not make my decisions based on Bing. hunch (dot) com is more promising decisions engine.

 

For me, nothing much good than Google... Long live Google, i've never use Bing for googling,
Bing as what i know is just another Brand from Microsoft...

 

As i think change is nature of life And MSN followed that very well ,first msn then live & now bing So its not just a brand its different flavor of Searching

 

It´s their attempt to show some face and not look like complete wimps in front of google

 

Bing is catching up with Google, but they are slow at indexing pages.

 

Give Bing some time and I think they will be good.

nowadays Bing has overtake Yahoo.

 

Hope it do it with Google also as my domain's rank in bing is 5 out of 5! And in google its 4 out of 10.

I like Bing for some things--I agree that is a product but I also think it is a branded product. Bottom line for me is that if my target market thinks it is impotant then I do.
