I don't think it's a scam, exactly, because they do what they say - they list your name and biography in a book. They make money by selling those books, and plaques, and other bits and pieces. However, they typically aren't as selective as they imply - many, many, many people are given the offer to be in the book. Also, I've never known anyone who made a business connection by being listed, although maybe it's useful in some fields. If you've gotten an offer from them, I'd say it doesn't hurt to be listed if you don't have to pay any money. It's up to you whether a nice hard bound book with your name in it is worth the amount they are asking.
Thank you, Nonny... Good feedback on Biltmore who's who. Great news, again thank you for sharing information....
Wow, this advertising copy is really convincing! Sign me up! Question: why is press release in quotes - is it not a real press release - and does the fact that they are "distributed" to search engines mean that they are not distributed to the actual press and news sites?
Hi! It may not be a scam outright..but if it seems to good to be true...uhh...yeah. Just another way to get money out of people who know no better. Exposure? Please. I bet less than 1% of people who pay get dime one back of out that "listing". Bryon
I googled it and found rip-off reports about biltmore whos who and it's a scam. I think, Rip-of reports have correct information, only members who harassed by any company may post the reports. I'm not saying rip-off reports are perfect upto some extent they work.
