Should i plunk down the 100 dollars?? I am leaning towards it. Plz tell me about your experience and the best way to go about making BANS a success for yourself. If you want to show off your BANS site, that would be the greatest, thx
BANS stands for Build a Niche Store. I've been playing around with it for a couple weeks. I think it's good. One thing I like is that I can quickly upload and create a simple store in a matter of minutes. I made a quick post about it here. ~Shannon p.s. yes, there is an affiliate link in my post.
yes. I've wrote about my experience in my website (refer to sig). Bare in mind that you must be an eBay affiliate to utilize the program !
BANS or Build a Niche Store is a script that allows you to create an eBay store for your site. The content pages of the store can be based on an eBay category or keyword or both. In a few short minutes you can create a new site with, or add to an old site, multiple pages of auction items for sale. Here is an sample of a site, the link is from the BANS home page: http://www.getaracecar.com/. You can add a description and keyword tags to your individual auction pages. And you can add content pages, which is recommended for search engines. With the purchase of one license you can create multiple stores over various domains. In my first BANS store, it took less than 14 days for the first eBay sale from my site, which earned a commission of $.67. And that was the beginning... You do need to become an eBay affiliate through Commission Junction and be able to create a database on your host server. For an article on BANS, check out http://www.homebusinessdirect.net/create-niche-stores.php. To go to BANS directly click on the "Create A Niche" link in the signature space below.
I've been looking at the ebay niche stores and the amazon niche stores. So far, every ebay niche store I see looks better. The ones I've seen for amazon all look the same and they look like crap. Does anybody have ebay and amazon? If so, which ones seem to be better???
There are other options, like if you have a wordpress blog, there's a plugin that works seamlessly with it.
I purchased and have been playing with it. It took about 2 weeks to earn my first commission. But honestly the commission on eBay are so small it's hard to make much. I am glad I purchased it, it is always a great learning experience. It's a pretty cool script, but creating traffic requires using a good method. Like I use in triangle marketing.
Maybe your niche has low payouts, but I average $50 a day right now with a number of green sites (not really matured and ranking). I've had single commissions of over $40 per sale. That's not all BANS, I have some custom sites that have eBay listings as a way of monetizing existing traffic. But it's growing steadily. Don't forget those $25 sign-up leads and $43 BANS affiliate sales add to the kitty real quick. Only thing, if your going to do BANS and do it right spend some time configuring and customizing your site. Too many people just throw one up and think they're going to convert right out of the box. PM me if you're interested and I'll show you some of my customized sites.
Yes, didn't see anything for about 14 days, as stated in a previous post, but within 6 weeks I had recovered the cost of the script plus.
I didnt see anything on there about BANS (except for your stats)??? Are u saying u designed that site using BANS??
Well I just searched Google for "ebay RSS script" and the #1 site for this term is a site on which they are selling the script integrated into a template and with Adsense as well. I think it's a good BANS alternative and it costs $5 only. I'm going to try it.
I gave it a shot too. I had to play around with the RSS (colors mostly) and the layout. I added some Amazon widgets at the side. The site is Cleveland Cavaliers Shopping: http://www.shopCavs.com Now for the waiting game...
For $5 it's a steal. I'm going through the PHP hoping to modify some of the stuff. I'll do more next week. I already switched the green and blue to a wine-scheme. I also added the favicon.ico to get the little icon in the corner. I moved around some of the adsense, and I'll continue to play with the RSS. Results are in the Cleveland Cavaliers Shopping site.
Their site also has a support forum at http://www.jce-tech.com/forum/index.php?www Another thing I did was add target="_blank" to the links to pop them open in a new window.
