Is BANS (Build A Nich Store) compatible with AdSense?

I'm hearing various sources regarding Build A Niche Store software sites that have AdSense on them being possibly incompatible sites because of:
BANS sites don't have any own content, they merely consist of ebay affiliate links and some adsense put in a navigation frame - no own content at all - what sould it rank for? the only words that could get indexed are the navigation menu items and that is not enough for google.
In fact, is it true Google could penalize account holders who unknowingly participate in this manner? Information and feedback appreciated.

In Googles ToS it says that you can't put Adsense ads on webpages that does not contain 'proper' content. So a page that only contains links would be unacceptable under the terms as I understand it.

It works fine, just make sure you add some content to each product page. You can make a lot of money with adsense+bans.

BANs sites work very well with Adsense.. In fact, you can earn more from Adsense than your sales! :D (my experience anyway)

My guess is by including a personal/unique writeup at the top of each page for every category section on a BANS site this will help. Describe each section in the best detail you possibly can giving the SE's more reason for ranking.
