Yoga never caught up to be anything more then side sport . I doubt anyone will have time for such things in today's social climate .

Yoga in North America has become more popular than many sports. Some stats say more than 50% of women practice yoga which is far from any sport.

What stats ? The ones buzzing in your head ?

Nobody cares about yoga since it's pretty much useless . I'm Shaolin and Shinobi not even the powerful Kuji-In doesn't have a significant effect on the health . I've been using battle Kuji-in before Shaolin meditation and all you get is a good state of mind . Wellness comes from whiting not from twisting your body in a weird way .

Yoga is not sport or a form of medicine . It just hindu meditation , take it out of context and you'll just be ridiculous .

you have proven to know nothing about yoga. Yoga has different elements and stretching is one of the least important elements. It is part of a way of life and entire philosophy. You may be describing the 'yoga' that is taught in western studios around the corner but by no means is that true yoga in all its senses.

In case you went blind I didn't even mentioned the stretching . I was comparing the yoga methods whit Kuji-In and even the mightiest form of energy concentration known still has limited effects , especially on long term .

Agree, those stats seem quite messed up.

Yoga is not just meditation. Please read more on it.

Btw, if you consider yoga "Hindu meditation", have a look at what Wikipedia says about Kuji-In

Kuji-In is also the named used for energy focusing in ninjitsu . I know there is quite a lot about yoga but in the end it's just exercise and meditation .

Yoga is very very very effective. Trust me. It has cure and excercise for virtually every organ. Also yoga is not just excercises and meditation, it is huge. :D

American women who 'do yoga' aren't doing any sort of Hindu religious practice. That's like thinking that drinking makes you Irish. :p

Check Playboy Yoga for how it's done in America. :p

obviously Yoga does not make you hindu...but hinduism is a way of life and yoga shares the same principles so a person that practices yoga is technically is incorporating many hindu traditions

just like kung fu incorporates many buddhist traditions

Stop for a second and consider that perhaps that animal spirit crap is part of the reason why Kung Fu is so useless compared to more scientific modern martial arts such as Krav Maga.

BTW, the next "yoga" in America is Pilates, and their merged silliness Yogilates.
