Is Axandra faking its PageRank?

    Hi y'all.

    Yesterday I installed a shiny new Google Toolbar for FireFox, and when I came by one of Axandra's sites (http://www.axandra-link-popularity-tool.com), it showed me a PR of 9. Wow!

    At the same time, link:www.axandra-link-popularity-tool.com on Google shows zero results. Hmm. Interesting.

    Fake PageRank Detection Tool (http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank.html) shows no information about http://www.axandra-link-popularity-tool.com. Meaning, it can't tell anything -- yes or no.

    How come? Could it be that Axandra guys are simply faking their PR? Seems unlikely, they have pretty good software, why would they risk it for a PR value, even if it's 9?

    Or am I missing something?

    Well, I checked the Axandra main site at www.axandra.com and it shows a page rank of 0 - and all google backlinks have been reduced to zero. Have they been penalized by the recent Google Page rank update?

    I don't know about www.axandra.com (yeah, now their PageRank is zero), but there's definitely been something fishy with www.axandra-link-popularity-tool.com's PageRank: it used to be 9, now it's just 5.

    It appears they've been either penalized, or been faking it. A PageRank of 5 seems fair to me, with the number of links Google shows for this site.
