Avatar has just become the biggest grossing film of all time, over $1.8 Billion - it's breaking all records because the 3D is fab. I didn't think it would be that good but having seen it I was astonished at how natural it felt. Real depth perception gives you the feeling that you are actually there :)

I wouldn't call it a ripoff, but to me, it definitely wasn't all it was hyped to be. A great movie to be sure (Cameron rarely disappoints), but some people were trying to make this film sound like the absolute best of all time, when it really wasn't even close IMO.

I can't say i enjoyed the film myself ... but as it just been awarded the 'most successful film' ever made, i guess we can't say its a rip off.

its just a movie.. everyone has an opinion. ALOT of people have mixed reviews about it, and thats fine, its a movie not real life right? enjoy it.

    my two cents?
