But why waste the time? No one is looking at your sites any more than you are looking at theirs. Just a bunch of people running a program to get more credits so that their site will not be seen by others running the program to get more credits so that their site will not be seen by you as you run the program to get more credits....ad nauseum.... Plus not the place to put any site that has adsense as it may get you banned by adsense. Altogether, autosurfs are like pixel sites....past their prime and only newbies would even think of joining one.
Illegal as in dawn raids and criminal convictions? Nope. But I'm with the Dawg on this. What possible purpose does autosurfing serve? What goals are you hoping it will help you meet?
I was just thinking about starting a autosurf site. That's why I was curious whether its legal or not.
A few years back, I ran about 4 such programs. Did darn good and made some money. But then, the market got saturated, tons of autosurf programs came and went daily. Then the paid to surf programs popped up (sucked a lot of money out of people!). Ran some of those and basically closed down all of them as it was a zero sum game for me.
hmmm.. u r right, there's loads of autosurf sites which are offering 10,000 free hits just for signing up. Its not a profitable business now.
Any legitimate revenue source is going to frown on auto-surf traffic, as it is not really traffic and probably rife with click fraud. As others mentioned, it is not illegal, as not viewing websites really fast does not break any laws I know of, but as iowadog said, what is the point? Your chances are greater of getting booted from adsense, for example, than generating any real traffic or money from participating in such a thing.
Can you explain to me why I'd want those 10,000 free hits? If there's no human involved I fail to see how they benefit me.
yep your going to get your door smashed in house raided and arrested or fines totaling up to 565,000,000 yen.. seriously tho.. your adsense account at google will be removed if you use these types of sites
well a few years ago before i actually learnt something i had a system setup where i used those free credits and sent to a shitty site with a banner exchange code added.. i had saved up over a 300,000 impressions i then advertised affiliate programs through the banner exchange network using those credits and made enough sales to start investing in real sites.. this was back when people actually noticed banner ads... now the net users mid has evolved to blackout any image with dimensions of 468x60
I guess that's part of the evolution of the net. Advertising started out just paying per impression - but the system could be exploited Then it paid per click - but the system is rife with click-fraud So now they're changing to pay per sale - how long till that gets corrupted?
yeah... Pay per sale will be exploited right away IMO theres people with hundreds of stolen creditcard info out there..
Oh I knew that, I dont want to sign up to autosurf my existing sites. I was thinking about to start a new autosurf site, buy the script, and a new domain and run it, not for increasing impressions or alexa ranking, just to earn,[ pay ?$ to get 10,000 hits ], like this. munt, you surely misunderstood my point. It's not related with adsense things. OK, thanks to all for your advice and guidance. I am not interested in starting an autosurf site anymore.
Iceberg, perhaps in future posts you might take an extra second to proof your questions. I don't think anyone here understands what you meant by illegal. And laws vary from country to country so if you were meaning in a criminal sense it would depend on the laws of the country from which you both live and operate. After all what I do in Saudi will have different legal consequences from the USA, Holland etc.
as long as you dont suck up ppl money, then that is ok, but if you do, you will be like 12dailypro, stuck in the fbi office, oh as long as ppl dont fight against you and take a lawsuit, then you are fine
