Is automated querying allowed in the Google SOAP API

I'd like to create an application with the Google SOAP API to parse the result. I read the Google SOAP API rules and it seems to be ok.. I do not create an application to commercial use and seems to follow all of the rules.. So I downloaded the API.
To use it, I must be register to a google account.. thats the problem.. When I read the liscence.. I don't know exactly what to do with this sentense :

"You may not send automated queries of any sort to Google's system without express permission in advance from Google."

It's specially what I want to do... make automated queries.. and I think the idea of the Google Search API its to make automated queries .. nah ?

Please to let me know on this... I want to be clean on this.. and to know if I can do automated queries with the Google API.

    Thanks

I believe that means that you can't do that with the normal search engine results but you can with the API. Otherwise, there would be no point to an API. :)

I think it means each query should be initiated by the user?
