Is Ask.com like Google in that your site could be listed one minute and gone the next

    Hi,

I have had my large site that gives alot of information to visitors and has been online for over 4 years in Ask.com for a while now and suddenly it has gone right from their search engine. I have tried typing in the actual domain name and it is not listed.

It looks as if it has been banned or something, for what reasons I don't know as it is not breaking any TOS of any search engine.

I am just wondering if others people sites have gone from their index. Although it is not the main search engine it were giving me some traffic and sales and everything helps when it comes to earning money online.

    Thanks!

It did the same to me. They sent me lots of traffic for 2 months (they were advertising on TV) and nothing after that..

All engines are. It depends weather your site is available during the last crawl of your site.
