I'd say it is not a must but if you don't do it you're missing a great way to get traffic and backlinks.
Look, if you don't like article marketing, that's certainly your prerogotive. But don't trash the method with an argument that isn't supported by facts. Yes, videos do very well in the search engines, but articles do just as well or better. In fact, there are many marketers including myself that have had articles show up on the first page of Google. I have read on many sites that one should promote products by article writing. As for me I am poor in article writing and I don't want to spend money on it either. But I think, article writing is only one of the many ways to promote your businesses.
It depends on your strategy, but just firing off some content you've already used on your sites is a bad idea. Don't want to get that duplicate content penalty, and google has readjusted the value of some article sites (almost making them as bad as black hat stuff in Google's eyes). If you do submit, stick to some of the top PR ones. I've been google slapped cuz of article marketing before (had to scrap the sites, really).
no its not that much must but its support your business. articles are effectively for link buldind. and u get traffic but u use onether different way also
Though not for marketing your website, at least to gain reputation online you need to have some good articles under your name. It would list in search rankings and it increases your credibility, which in turn helps in all ways in your online success. Thanks
