I guess the problem is, are your going to spend an hour creating an excellent article to generate a few people a month from direct traffic or are you going to skip article base and get traffic + a followed Link?

I give article base a wide berth, because if I'm writting something decent I think I deserve a miserable link for my hard earned effort.
