If all you do are article dumpers, like ezine, no, it is not worth your time. Not even close. That is, if you want more than 2-digit traffic. Many are happy with that. Noobs, mostly.

It is something you should be doing in your free time. I like it because it will likely give you a constant flow of targetted visitors. Many people get the impression that with a few articles they will be receiving hundreds of visitors each month. Most of the time (and I've never seen it) thats not the case. You might get a few hundred visitors across the next year from it. The good part about it, is that it doesn't really just die out like most other forms of advertising.

article marketing rocks.. getting residual sales through EZA submissions (do your KEYWORD research) is a fantastic way to get going.
If you take your time and do it correctly, then Yes it is worth the work involved. You have to remember that the work you put into it will pay off over and over again. As stated earlier, getting your keyword research is one key element to making it work effectively, just as well as well written articles and resource boxes. I've noticed a lot of people tend to use wimpy resource boxes, and that is where the magic really happens. It stinks to have someone read your article only to have them ignore the resource box, that's why it's important not to neglect working on those as well.
