Is anyones revenue so far today absolute crap?

Actually, having worked in software development, I know I appreciated feedback on issues like this ... and yes, even though it is Beta, it's unusual (in my experience) for the reporting to be broke as I pointed out ... so I posted here to see if others had seen it, plus I would be curious if YahooSarah can comment on it.

I have been generally positive toward YPN and pointed out in previous posts that s*it happens, so I don't mean to come across as moaning and complaining.

This should have been the easiest fix to ever make in the history of fixes. Just go back to what it was, bingo, fixed.

Well I still do not have reports from yesterday. I assume that is another issue?

 

i have no reports from yesterday and while i'm jsut testing the waters with yahoo on a site or 2, my earnings today show .40 cents!

 

I'm happy to report that my earnings are back to normal. Hope it doesn't change too soon :/

 

My sites have come back some, but still do not know until the end of the night.

My reports have showed up, but yesterdays are delayed now. I am sure they will though. I know it is frustrating to not see them in a timely manner as many of you rely on this to make your strategies for your sites. I also do. I am just trying to be patient is all.

 

BTW, you can back out the totals for the day before by adding up the amount earned in January, then the total so far in Febuary from the Performance report (through 21st) and subtracting from the "Pending Balance" number in the top right. This should be the total for yesterday, the 22nd, plus the "Daily Balance" earned so far today on the 23rd.

But this, of course, doesn't provide any per-channel information which is typically more of interest ... but at least that is now available for the 21st.

This is all similar to when Adsense was released and there was a two day delay on all of these numbers.

 

Reports are still running 24 hours behind and worse there is now a difference between the Daily Balance and what shows up two days later in the revenue report. On the 21th I had a pretty nice day but two days later when I saw the 7 day report that day was 18% (a lot) less. Is anyone else seeing a drop from Daily Balance to the final report? I know this is a beta but lost revenue is something that should not happen. I hope they fix this soon.

 

I had a pay drop on the 21st. 18% less from the Daily Balance to the final report. I have been one of YPN biggest supporters but pay drops are going change that real quick. This whole system is based on trust and now I am starting to not trust these reports. YahooSarah could you find out why this pay drop happened and what is going to be done to fix it.

 

Yes I beleive that I did have a pay drop as well.

 

Earnings are often adjusted by the YPN system, as the system determines which clicks are valid.

have you called your reps? they have been awesome about picking up the phone and speaking directly with you ... with no hold times to boot.

although i got hold of 1 guy yesterday who was pretty short about my questions.

 

That's true, but this is something different for the 2/21 - which is probably why stats weren't showing. I called YPN this morning and the rep said he had gotten a lot of calls about this and has filed some ticket to get an answer and call me back.
